STATIC DRESS

Static Dress are a proudly anti-algorithmic band. They don't churn out TikToks — they tell stories and build worlds, every detail seemingly pored over for hours. Vocalist Olli Appleyard, guitarist Vin Weight, bassist George Holding and drummer Sam Ogden all played a major role in shaping the sound and direction of their records.

They introduced fans to Injury Episode via an interactive art exhibit at a vintage London cinema and have put on a series of pop-up, phone-free gigs that go against almost every rule in creating hype. That restless creative energy runs through the record itself. Injury Episode balances towering alternative rock moments with jagged breakdowns, cinematic textures and deeply personal lyricism — the result of a band committed to preserving live energy, often capturing performances in single takes.

Injury Episode is a frantic 15-track album dragging the scrappy fury of early 2000s post-hardcore into 2026 — screamed vocals, crushing riffs and chaotic energy that couldn't care less about radio playlists or TikTok virality. Highlights include Nostalgia Kills featuring Underoath and the Funeral For A Friend-echoing Dull Blade Disguise.

SOUL BLIND

Soul Blind are a four-piece from the Hudson Valley, New York, dealing in what you might call "grungegaze" — a dreamy fuzz-pedal trudge somewhere on the continuum between grunge and shoegaze, citing Hum, Failure, Quicksand and Deftones as influences. Their sophomore album Red Sky Mourning is out now via Closed Casket Activities.

HOLDER

Holder is a five piece post-hardcore/metalcore band based out of western Massachusetts, formed in 2024. Their sound consists of takeaways from early waves of screamo and emotional hardcore with bands such as This Day Forward, Joshua Fit For Battle, and Converge.
